The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Sunday Paul Bako received the officials of the Nigerian Environmental Society (NES) Taraba state chapter in his office on the 9th of August 2023.

The Vice Chancellor Prof. Sunday Paul Bako received the Officials of The Nigerian Environmental Society (NES) Taraba State in his office, the team lead by Mr. Ande Danjuma, the Chapter Chairman. The visit was to intimate the University Management of NES and its activities and seek wats of effective collaboration between the University and Management of NES.

There is no doubt that the issues of population growth, waste generation, water scarcity, and pollution of all sorts have combined to cause variability and changes in climate across different parts of the world. These and many other reasons are a serious call for actions to save the environment for now and future generations.

The Vice-Chancellor, after receiving NES delegation, thanked them for identifying with the University and, of course, the Vice-Chancellor and promised to support them in every possible way anytime, anywhere, anyday, when the need arises.
