Climate change awareness refers to the level of understanding and knowledge that individuals, communities, and societies have about the causes, impacts, and solutions of climate change. It involves recognizing the scientific consensus that human activities, particularly the burning of fossil fuels, are contributing to the increase in greenhouse gas emissions and subsequent global warming.

Climate change awareness also encompasses understanding the potential consequences of climate change, such as rising sea levels, extreme weather events, and ecosystem disruptions.

Awareness of climate change is crucial because it drives action and policy changes to mitigate and adapt to its impacts. When people are aware of the risks and understand the urgency of addressing climate change, they are more likely to support and engage in sustainable practices, such as reducing carbon emissions, conserving energy, and adopting renewable energy sources.

Climate change awareness also plays a role in influencing governments, businesses, and organizations to implement policies and practices that prioritize environmental sustainability. During the Rally they were awareness creation across the region and the state at large. They further urges the citizens to treat the Environment with care as human lives depends on it.
