An environmental sanitation awareness campaign is a targeted effort to educate and inform individuals and communities about the importance of maintaining a clean and healthy environment. The campaign aims to raise awareness about the impact of poor sanitation practices on public health, water quality, and overall well-being.

The Clean up exercise was a successful one and the people in that community really appreciated NES effort towards making sure the environment is clean and conducive. The NES Akwa Ibom state chapter chairman also enlighted the people on the need to always keep their respective environments clean in order to be free from any disease related effects.

Community Engagement: Engage with local communities, schools, and organizations to promote active participation in environmental sanitation practices. Encourage community members to take responsibility for their surroundings and organize clean-up drives, recycling initiatives, and awareness events.

The NES Akwa Ibom chapter also advised the state Government to try and intensively collaborate with private sectors and local government agencies, non-profit organizations, and businesses to maximize the reach and impact of the campaign. Pool resources, expertise, and networks to implement effective sanitation practices and initiatives.
